Electromagnetic Products Engineer (H/F)

Your missions :

As an electromagnetic engineer in our design office, you will keep abreast of technological developments and market needs, and propose product developments and upgrades for Tech Power Electronics, in line with our strategy.

Reporting to the Design Manager, you will be part of a team of 7 Design Engineers and Technicians working in collaboration with the Industrialization Engineers and Technicians.

After an induction period lasting several weeks, during which you will be given the opportunity to familiarize yourself with the way the company and its various departments work, you will carry out your engineering assignments in our design office, in particular:

You translate customer requirements into Tech Power Electronics specifications.

• Determine the tools required for product development, taking into account project constraints (deadlines, budgets…).
• Define the product, create technical manufacturing files.
• Study product specifications and technological feasibility.
• Participate in costing.
• Act as project manager.
• Participate in component management: choose components for products, manage obsolescence.
• Develop, produce or coordinate the manufacture of test benches and control programs.
• Commission and control the production of prototypes.

You will provide your expertise in HF power electromagnetic design and dimensioning.

• Propose technical solutions for customers.
• Act as technical consultant.
• Specify different analysis methods to develop innovative solutions.
• Create different versions of the product or a specific version following a customer order.
• Improve product characteristics through technological and competitive intelligence.
• Replace and optimize materials following the introduction of new technical standards or improvements in material performance.

Your profile

With a degree in power electronics and experience in electromagnetic sizing (transformers, inductors), you are or would like to become an expert in the field of power electronics.

As a technical solution provider, you rely on your good interpersonal skills, your rigor, and your curiosity to accomplish your missions.
