Fire Safety Officer Training and Continuing Education Here, employees from the Wehingen and Teningen factories were practically trained as fire safety officers. The employees practiced the use of fire extinguishers to be able to extinguish incipient fires in case of a fire emergency. The event included both theory and a practical component.

The focus was on:

• Which fire extinguisher is used for which types of fires?
• What function/structure do fire extinguishers have?
• How do I effectively extinguish a fire?
• How should I behave in the event of a fire?
• What are the basics of burn injuries?

In our Wehingen factory, there are now a total of four fire safety officers, and in the Teningen factory, there are eight trained individuals.
